i went all the way down to london yesterday with my dad to renew my swedish passport, but oh... what a surprise, the people working at the embassy said they can't actually renew it for me as there's this new law thing starting from february this year. i was so annoyed! i woke up at 3.15am in the morning to catch the 5.28am train at bridgend station, now they're telling me i went there for nothing?! grr!! however, i managed to catch the sunrise on the train! it was so beautiful and picturesque...

well anyways... after that disaster, all me and my dad can do was to walk around london for a bit because the return train we booked was at 6.45pm, however, it was only 9.35am when we came out of the embassy! first we walked along oxford street aimlessly until we got to a underground train station, we went in and my dad bought me a sandwich and i shared it with him. we then caught the underground train to hyde park and sat on a bench for an hour while my dad phoned my mum to tell her the bad news we had.


chinatown!

my dad then phoned my aunt (his elder sister who lives in london already) to ask her if she wanted to come out to 飲茶 (yum cha) at london chinatown, she agreed so we headed to leicester square and walked our way up to chinatown. she took ages coming down, me and my dad browsed around chinatown for a bit, i feel like i was in hong kong, haha! i miss hong kong... when we finally decided where to eat, we ordered our favourites, 點心! (dim sum) i was so hungry. after that my dad went to a chinese supermarket there at chinatown to get some chinese vegetables and a durian! i love durians, they so cute and... prickly, haha!

we then went to my aunt's house for a bit and we're back to paddington station to catch the train home. thank god the durian didn't smell that much while in the train beacuse my dad ask the woman in the chinese supermarket to wrap lots of layers of newspaper around it, ain't he clever? lol it was such a tiresome day.
